COMPARTMENT/ IMPROVEMENT/FAILURES Application form for PRIVATE CANDIDATES now available on CBSE website



                                                                                    Online Application for Private Candidate for Examination 2017 (COMPARTMENT/IMPROVEMENT/FAILURES/ADDITIONAL SUBJECT) is now available on CBSE website for both class 10th and 12th. 

Along with online availability of application, CBSE issued a important notice to all students/guardians that you must read before applying.


Last date for applying without late fee is 7th November 2016.  



Brief Category Explanation
Compartment CategoryApplicable to those candidates who could not pass in main examination held in March and placed into compartment and want to appear only in compartment subject in the coming examination. This is applicable for class 12th candidates. Candidate need to give previous main examination details for applying. Candidates wishing to appear for all subjects should apply under Failure category.
ImprovementApplicable to those candidates who passed the main examination held in March (immediate previous main examination) and want to improve their performance. Candidate need to give previous main examination details for applying. Candidates can select varying subject(s) for improvement, however JEE (Main) aspirants (after class 12th) should select at least 5 subjects to become eligible for consideration of their improvement result for JEE (Main).
FailuresApplicable to those candidates who could not pass in Main examination as well as in subsequent compartment chances. Candidate need to give the previous main (March) examination details for applying and must select at least 5 subjects. Candidates placed in compartment category in previous main examination can also apply in this category, however in that case they have to appear in all selected subjects and will be treated as full subject failures.
Additional SubjectApplicable to those candidate who passed the main examination held in March and want study additional subject (except of those subjects already passed). Candidate need to give previous main examination details in which they passed for applying. Candidates can select any non-practical subjects excluding of those already passed.
Female/PwDApplicable to women or PwD candidate who is a bonafide resident of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. Candidates can select non-practical subjects

Steps for Apply

Keep your previous information ready before applying, like admit card and marks statement having information about your main examination. Click on the category of examination carefully under which you want to apply.
 
2Fill in all the details and select subject(s) carefully. You must specify the City/District from the list provided which is based on the state select by you. The state and city selected will be used for determining your examination center and regional office hence it should be selected carefully as it cannot be modified later. On submission you will be shown the application no., note down the application number as it will be used for all future references.
 
3Upload your scanned Photo and Signature image using "Upload Image" option.
 
4Go to Fee Payment option and pay using e-challan or Demand Draft.
 
5Go to "Generate Confirmation Page" option generate the confirmation page. Candidate must send Photostat copy of the Mark sheet/Grade sheet cum Certificate of Performance of the Roll No. filled in the application form and copy of e-challan/ Original DD (in case of payment made through DD) along with the confirmation page to the concerned Regional Office whose address is given on the confirmation page. Fresh female candidate appearing under Delhi Scheme will also have to send the Affidavit.
Note: Candidate seeking change in application can send application cancellation request to regional office concerned before making payment/entering demand draft details.
